The Seattle Post-Intelligencer noted that Platform Gallery "is giving Seattle a much-needed infusion of rigor." Since 2004, Platform Gallery has exhibited challenging contemporary art including sculpture, painting, works on paper, photography and installations by artists from around the world.

The exhibition space in located on the East Edge of historic Pioneer Square in the Tashiro-Kaplan arts complex at 114 Third Avenue South. Platform also exhibits in various art fairs, some of which have included Aqua Art Miami, Year_07 in London, The Affair at the Jupiter Hotel in Portland, Oregon, and ArtLA in Los Angeles.

Platform's schedule of exhibitions includes shows every six weeks.

Platform is owned and directed by co-founders Blake Haygood and Stephen Lyons.
